CORRECTION: The October 2008 newsletter article had an error. It mentioned the Choosing by Advantages approach to decision making and stated that it had ceased being widely used. Jim Suhr, who was the developer of the approach, called to let us know that he and his associates are still teaching the process in seminars. He assured us that it was still being used by many government agencies. Also, Choosing by Advantages methods do not assign numerical weights to decision factors, goals, roles, categories, attributes, or criteria. We apologize for my mistaken comments about the process. If you want to contact Jim Suhr, his phone number is 801-782-6168.
