Interior will also establish a new Energy Reform Team to identify and implement important energy management reforms.”
“The Forest Service has issued a notice of intent (NOI) to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) to develop a new planning rule that will provide a framework for management of national forests and grasslands. The 60 day public comment period on the NOI will run from December 18, 2009 to February 16, 2010. There will be multiple opportunities for public involvement throughout the rulemaking process.
